What is Nia?
Done barefoot to diverse and inspiring music, Nia is a fun dance/fitness class. Nia draws from dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts.
The benefits of Nia include: cardiovascular conditioning, weight management, improved muscle tone and bone density, increased flexibility,
grace, strength and endurance. Nia is non-impact, so it’s easy on the joints and spine, making it an excellent fitness program for those
with special conditions. But the most important benefit of Nia is the increased pleasure of living in your body! Nia is practiced by people
of all walks of life, all ages and fitness levels.
